ROSTER DROP: Chukwu, Ivanisevic & Badwal highlight new-look CanMNT 🇨🇦 for Fall friendlies

Canada Soccer has announced the selection of 26 players who will represent Canada Soccer's Men's National Team (CANMNT) during the September-October 2026 FIFA International Window.

Canada will play its first matches on home soil since this summer's FIFA World Cup 2026™, hosting Chile at BMO Field in Toronto on Saturday 26 September (7:00 PM ET) before travelling to Montréal to face Peru at Stade Saputo on Saturday 3 October (2:00 PM ET). Billed as "The Homecoming," the two matches are a chance for fans across the country to welcome back a team that inspired a nation this summer. ​

Tickets for the CANMNT Homecoming series matches against Chile in Toronto and Peru in Montréal are on sale now via CanadaSoccer.com.

Canada will close out the window against the United States on Tuesday 6 October at Allianz Field in St. Paul, Minnesota (7:00 PM CT / 8:00 PM ET), the 43rd all-time meeting between the two rivals. Canada has won each of the last two meetings against the Americans: a 2:1 win in Kansas City in September 2024 that snapped a 67-year winless run on U.S. soil, followed by a 2:1 victory in the 2024-25 Concacaf Nations League third-place match at SoFi Stadium last March.

This window marks the group's reunion following a history-making FIFA World Cup 2026™ campaign cycle, the most successful in program history. CANMNT opened with a 1:1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina before defeating Qatar 6:0 to record the program's first-ever World Cup win. A hard-fought 2:1 loss to Switzerland in the final group stage match was enough to send Canada through to the knockout stage for the first time in its history, and a 92nd-minute winner from Stephen Eustáquio saw off South Africa 1:0 to put Canada into the Round of 16. The run ended with a 3:0 defeat to Morocco in Houston on 4 July.

Saturday's matches in Toronto and Montréal will also include a special moment for two of the program's longest-serving players. Junior Hoilett, a native of Brampton who has represented Canada 69 times since 2015, will be celebrated by fans in Toronto. In Montréal, Samuel Piette, a hometown product and CF Montréal captain who has worn the MNT jersey on 69 occasions since debuting at 17 in 2012, will receive a similar recognition. Both matches will offer supporters a chance to show their appreciation for two players who have given their dedication to the program over the past decade-plus.

Beyond this window, Canada's fall schedule includes the Concacaf Nations League A Quarterfinals in November, where the team has a bye directly into the two-legged, home-and-away tie after finishing third in the 2025-26 competition. The winner advances to the Concacaf Nations League Finals at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles in March 2027.
