RECAP + HIGHLIGHTS: FC Supra du Québec vs. Pacific FC | October 04, 2026
Could this be the Selaidopoulos effect? Perhaps. In any case, FC Supra secured a convincing and potentially decisive victory in the playoff race against a Pacific FC side that was far too toothless to threaten in this match (5-0).
There was only one team on the pitch in this match: FC Supra. They dominated from start to finish, created countless chances, conceded very little and kept a clean sheet.
It was a perfect night for Supra, while Pacific FC will want to forget this one.
The Quebec side opened the scoring just after the quarter-hour mark through Ibrahim Condé. Loïc Kwemi, on the left side of the box, found Diyaeddine Abzi, who immediately laid the ball back to Condé, whose backheel finish proved unstoppable for Sean Melvin (1-0, 18').
Loïc Kwemi doubled his team's lead shortly after halftime, scoring after Pacific's defence failed to properly clear a Condé shot (2-0, 50').
Diyaeddine Abzi then produced a superb long-range free kick to add to the lead (3-0, 57'), before Matisse Chrétien headed home from a corner (4-0, 78'). Noah Santos then put the final nail in Pacific's coffin after a long clearance from Joakim Milli (5-0, 90+2').
Despite the lopsided scoreline, FC Supra could have scored even more.
With the score still 0-0, Sean Melvin had to work hard to tip a Charles Auguste header onto the crossbar, before preventing Clément Bayiha from scoring on the rebound (10').
Loïc Kwemi, on one of his trademark runs, beat the entire Pacific FC defence but fired his powerful shot just wide (36'), while Ibrahim Condé also sent a shot just wide from the edge of the box (38'). Both chances undoubtedly deserved a better outcome.
Sean Rea also came close with a powerful effort from outside the box that flew just over the crossbar, while Omar Elkalkouli gave the British Columbia defence another scare from close range late in the match.
Pacific FC had entered the game on a relatively positive run of form in recent matches, but produced very little throughout the contest.
To make matters worse, Pacific FC saw Yann Toualy, one of its best players this season, leave the game with 20 minutes remaining following a collision with Alessandro Biello.
With this victory, FC Supra keeps its playoff hopes alive.
The Quebec side is now five points behind Vancouver FC, currently fourth and occupying the final playoff spot. Supra does, however, have one game in hand, while a meeting with Vancouver FC is scheduled for October 10, three days after a clash with Inter Toronto.
The end of the season promises to be an exciting one.
